ðŸ’Ą Pro Tip: Mastering Parry vs Block

Holding F activates Block, reducing damage taken but you still take chip damage. Tapping F at the right moment performs a Parry/Dodge, which completely negates damage and gives you an opening to counter-attack. Practice the timing in PvE before using it in PvP!

📊 Stats System

Understanding character attributes and progression

Core Stats Explained

As you train, your stats increase and are assigned corresponding letter ranks (E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS). You can purchase a Stat Check at the Hospital for $350 or use the game-pass to check stats anywhere.

Stat Name Primary Effect Additional Notes
💊 Strength Increases overall damage output Your main offensive stat for all attacks
ðŸ›Ąïļ Durability Increases maximum health Essential for survivability
🏃 Agility Increases running speed Stops scaling at 2000
⚡ Dexterity Increases striking speed & improves dodge Dodge window stops scaling at 1000
🍔 Fat Increases health Decreases striking speed & running speed
💊 Muscle Increases health & damage Decreases striking speed & running speed
⚡ Stamina Increases stamina pool Reduces stamina cost of running & attacks
💞 Employee Level Increases money from jobs Rises by completing jobs (max level 4)

⚠ïļ Important: Fat & Muscle Trade-offs

While Fat and Muscle increase your health (and Muscle adds damage), they both slow down your striking speed and running speed. Many advanced players prefer staying lean for faster combat. Consider your playstyle before building too much Fat/Muscle!

Stat Checker Display

The Stat Checker (available at Hospital or via game-pass) shows:

  • Current stat values with letter ranks
  • Your active Trait bonus
  • Clan buffs (if in a clan)
  • Miscellaneous buffs from equipment or consumables

ðŸ˜ī Fatigue Management

Master the most important survival mechanic

Understanding Fatigue

Fatigue increases as you gain stats. The more fatigue you accumulate, the more stats you gain per training session. However, high fatigue comes with serious penalties.

⚠ïļ Critical: The 60% Rule

It is recommended to rest at 60% Fatigue. Past this threshold, you experience increased stamina drain, reduced stat gains, and risk suffering Broken Limbs at 67%+ Fatigue.

Fatigue Penalties by Level:

  • 0-60% Fatigue: ✅ Normal training efficiency
  • 60-67% Fatigue: ⚠ïļ Increased stamina drain, lower stat gains
  • 67%+ Fatigue: ðŸšĻ High risk of Broken Limbs with every training session

How to Reduce Fatigue

Method Cost Recovery Rate Time Required
Hospital Bed $500 ~0.05% per second 15-20 minutes (60% → 0%)
Under Bridge (Free) Free ~0.01% every 12 seconds 20-24 hours (60% → 0%)

ðŸ’Ą Fatigue Recovery Tips

  • BCAA Consumable: Reduces stamina drain by 50% while still giving the same stat gains - train safer!
  • Sleepy Head Talent: Increases Fatigue drain by 50% while sleeping in bed (recover faster)
  • Quick Recovery (Gamepass): Reduces Fatigue drain by 50% while resting AND helps recover broken bones faster

⚠ïļ Common Beginner Mistake

New players often train until 80-90% Fatigue trying to maximize gains, then wonder why they keep getting injured. The stat gain boost is NOT worth the injury risk! Always rest at 60% to stay safe and maintain consistent progression.

ðŸĶī Bones & Injuries System

Understanding fractures and injury mechanics

Broken Limbs (Fractures)

When your Fatigue exceeds 60%, there is a chance of suffering from Broken Limbs. Most players experience fractures around 67% Fatigue.

ðŸšĻ Fracture Consequences:

  • You can no longer farm or train
  • Recovery time while resting in bed becomes significantly longer
  • You're essentially forced to take a break from progression

How to Treat Broken Bones:

  1. Pay $5,000 to the Hospital NPC at the medical desk (instant healing)
  2. Rest on a Hospital Bed (takes longer but free after bed cost)

Combat Injuries

Your limbs take damage as you fight. Getting hit with skills will always damage some part of your body. When a body part reaches 0 health, the limb breaks and you suffer an injury.

Injury Types & Debuffs:

🧠 Head Injury

  • Less dodge frames
  • Camera will skew with every hit to the head
  • Makes combat significantly harder

💔 Torso Injury

  • Stamina regeneration becomes twice as slow
  • Severely limits your ability to fight

💊 Arms Injury

  • Blocking will deal more chip damage
  • Less effective at defending

ðŸĶĩ Legs Injury

  • With both legs broken, you cannot run
  • Severely limits mobility

⚠ïļ Self-Damage Warning

Attacking with a broken limb will cause you to deal damage to yourself! Always heal injuries before continuing combat.

ðŸ’Ą Injury Prevention Strategy

  • Keep Fatigue below 60% to avoid fractures entirely
  • Use BCAA during training to reduce stamina drain while maintaining stat gains
  • Sleepy Head talent or Quick Recovery game-pass help recover broken bones faster
  • Save $5,000 as emergency fund for instant healing if you get fractured

💊 Limit Breaking System

Unlock your true potential beyond stat caps

What is Limit Breaking?

Limit Breaking is the process of unlocking your stats once they reach certain thresholds. When a stat requires a Limit Break, its number will turn red in the stat checker.

Key Information:

  • You can Limit Break the following stats: Strength, Durability, Agility, Dexterity, and Stamina
  • You can Limit Break up to 25 times in total
  • Maximum of 8 Limit Breaks per individual stat
  • Each Limit Break requires completing 3 quests related to that specific stat
  • After quests, you must complete a mini-game to finish the Limit Break

⚠ïļ "Someone's keeping me busy right now..."

If you see this message: "Listen someone's keeping me busy right now, come back in a bit and talk to me again."

This means there's already someone doing a Limit Break in your server. Wait until they finish or hop to another server to continue your Limit Break.

⚔ïļ Combat Tag System

Prevent combat logging and unfair escapes

How Combat Tag Works

The Combat Tag appears at the top middle of the screen when you enter combat with another player or aggressive NPC.

ðŸšĻ Critical Warning

Leaving the game while Combat Tag is active will result in consequences (your character may be penalized or you may lose items). Never combat log!

Combat Tag Rules:

  • Combat Tag lasts for 15 seconds
  • The timer resets when you are hit
  • You must wait for the tag to fully expire before safely leaving
  • Running away doesn't remove the tag - it only counts down when you stop taking damage

ðŸ’Ą How to Safely Disengage

If you need to leave a fight: Disengage from combat → Wait 15 seconds without being hit → Combat Tag disappears → Safe to leave. Always check for the Combat Tag indicator before closing the game!

ðŸŽŊ Focus Bar Mechanic

Master focus for enhanced combat performance

Understanding the Focus Bar

The Focus Bar is a combat enhancement system that rewards skilled, aggressive play. It fills as you fight and provides powerful bonuses at certain thresholds.

25% Focus Threshold

Gain 2x dodge frames

Your dodge window becomes twice as forgiving, making it easier to avoid attacks.

100% Focus (Full Bar)

Gain 25% more damage

All your attacks deal significantly increased damage.

ðŸ’Ą Focus Bar Strategy

  • Stay aggressive to build and maintain Focus during fights
  • Once you reach 25% Focus, you gain significantly better dodging capability - use this to play more aggressively
  • At 100% Focus, your damage output is massive - this is when you push for the kill
  • Focus depletes when not in combat, so keep the pressure on your opponent

💰 Money System

Earning cash and managing finances

How to Make Money in Fistborn

Money is obtained primarily by completing jobs at the Job Board in 24/7. More money can be gained by reaching a higher Employee Level.

Available Jobs:

Job Name Base Pay Notes
Restock $1,200 Highest paying job - prioritize this
Missing Cat $1,000 Good pay, moderate difficulty
Clean Dirt $400 Lowest pay - only do when others unavailable

ðŸ’Ą Money Making Tips

  • Level up your Employee Level to increase job payouts (max level 4)
  • Focus on Restock jobs for maximum cash per hour
  • Redeem codes from our codes page for free cash bonuses
  • Defeat Random Encounter bosses for additional token rewards

Bank Limit

Players can only store up to $5,000,000 Cash in their bank. Once you reach this limit, you won't be able to deposit more money until you spend some. Plan your purchases accordingly!

⚠ïļ Don't Waste Money

Essential purchases priority: Breathing Mask ($350) → Basic training equipment → Stat Checker access ($350) → Hospital bed usage ($500) → Equipment upgrades. Avoid cosmetic purchases until you have a solid financial foundation!
