Fistborn's in-game tutorial teaches you basic controls, movement, and attacking. Pay close attention to:
This is your most important early decision! Don't rush this choice. Your first talent defines your early game playstyle. See the Talent Selection section below for detailed recommendations.
While you can reset talents later using codes or in-game currency, your first choice matters for the first few hours of gameplay. Choose wisely!
After choosing your talent, you'll spawn in the main game area. Your goals for the first session:
Essential knowledge every player needs
Coins: Primary currency for buying upgrades, new talents, and equipment. Earned by defeating enemies and completing quests.
Gems: Premium currency (if available) for special items. Can be earned rarely or purchased.
Gain XP by fighting enemies, completing quests, and exploring. Each level unlocks:
Basic Combat: Click/tap to attack. Time your attacks and don't button mash!
Combos: Chain attacks together for bonus damage.
Blocking: Reduces incoming damage. Learn enemy attack patterns!
The core of Fistborn! Talents are special abilities that define your character:
PvE (Story): Fight AI enemies, complete quests, level up. Best for beginners!
PvP (Arena): Battle other players. Unlocks at level 10+. Requires good build and skills.
Collect equipment to boost your stats. Types include:
Best starting talents for new Fistborn players
Why Defensive? As a beginner in Fistborn, staying alive is more important than dealing maximum damage. Defensive talents give you:
Tank Shield: Grants a shield that absorbs damage
Iron Fortress: Reduces all incoming damage by 20%
Second Wind: Automatically heal when health is low
If you're comfortable with action games, hybrid talents offer balanced offense and defense in Fistborn:
Warrior's Path: Balanced attack and defense buffs
Battle Mage: Magic damage + protective barriers
Swift Striker: Fast attacks + evasion bonus
Warning: Offensive talents in Fistborn are high-risk, high-reward. Only recommended if:
Pure offensive builds are glass cannons - high damage but very low defense. You'll die frequently while learning Fistborn combat. Consider starting defensive and switching later!
Fistborn allows talent resets, but use them wisely:
How to Get Talent Resets:
Your journey from beginner to expert
Focus on defeating low-level enemies quickly rather than struggling with tough enemies. In Fistborn, 10 weak enemies (100 coins each) = 1,000 coins in 5 minutes. Much faster than one tough enemy for 200 coins!
Tank Build: Defensive Talent + Healing Talent = Unkillable
DPS Build: Offensive Talent + Crit Boost Talent = Burst Damage
Balanced: Hybrid Talent + Utility Talent = Versatile Fighter
Master Fistborn's fighting system
Every enemy in Fistborn has predictable attack patterns. Watch them for 10-20 seconds before engaging aggressively. Knowing when they attack = easy blocking.
Don't waste special abilities on weak enemies in Fistborn. Save them for tough fights or when surrounded. Cooldowns are long!
In Fistborn, getting surrounded = death. Pull enemies one by one or use AOE abilities when fighting groups.
Chain 3-5 attacks together before resetting. Combos in Fistborn deal bonus damage and often stagger enemies.
Randomly clicking in Fistborn wastes stamina and leaves you vulnerable. Time your attacks and watch for enemy counters.
Pure damage builds die too easily in Fistborn. Even offensive players need some defensive talents or equipment.
When enemies run in Fistborn, it's often a trap leading to more enemies. Let them come back to you.
Blocking reduces damage by 50-80% in Fistborn! Learn to block between your attacks. It's better to block and survive than attack and die.
In Fistborn, you can cancel attack animations by blocking or dodging immediately after damage registers. This advanced technique lets skilled players attack faster and avoid retaliation. Practice in PvE before using in PvP!
Learn from others' errors in Fistborn
The Problem: New Fistborn players often buy every talent and item they can afford, wasting coins on things they don't need.
The Solution: Save coins for talents and equipment that fit your build. Research before buying! Ask in community Discord or check guides.
Smart Spending: First 3,000 coins should go to: 1) Your core talent upgrade, 2) A decent weapon, 3) Basic armor.
The Problem: Jumping into Fistborn PvP at level 10 with basic talents and no practice = getting destroyed and feeling discouraged.
The Solution: Wait until level 15-20 before serious PvP. Use that time to master combat in PvE, get better equipment, and understand your talent synergies.
The Problem: Picking talents that don't work together in Fistborn. Example: Choosing two defensive talents when you need damage.
The Solution: Build around a theme. Tank? Stack defensive talents. DPS? Focus offensive with one defensive. Hybrid? Mix wisely. All talents should support your main strategy.
The Problem: Missing out on FREE coins, XP boosts, and talent resets from codes.
The Solution: Visit our codes page right now and redeem ALL active codes! These free rewards can save you hours of grinding in Fistborn.
The Problem: Dying in Fistborn can be frustrating, especially to tough enemies or in PvP. Many new players quit after repeated deaths.
The Solution: Death is part of learning in Fistborn! Every death teaches you something - enemy patterns, your build weaknesses, positioning errors. Analyze why you died and adjust. Even pro players died hundreds of times while learning.
The Problem: Focusing only on talents while using starter weapons and armor. Equipment matters A LOT in Fistborn!
The Solution: Balance talent and equipment upgrades. A good weapon can double your damage. Good armor can make you twice as tanky. Aim for at least uncommon (green) equipment by level 15.

Best XP Sources in Fistborn:
Never use XP boosts casually! Activate them right before a 30-60 minute farming session or quest grinding. Stack multiple boosts if possible for maximum efficiency in Fistborn.
